Este trabajo tiene como objetivo, evidenciar la apertura de la comunidad caleña para la enseñanza y adquisición de una segunda lengua antes de los tres años de edad. Entendemos que el proceso de desarrollo de la primera lengua (lengua materna) es largo y va mediado por las relaciones que el individuo establece con su entorno, y es por esto que se argumenta que es importante que al adquirir otras lenguas, se respete los ritmos, teniendo en cuenta su cotidianidad y la pertinencia de la adquisición para sí mismo y sus pares, es decir: comunicación significativa.This work aims, highlight the opening of the Cali community for teaching and acquisition of a second language before three years of age.
